Minimum 2 Years As A Cook In A Restaurant, Canteen, Buffet, Or In The Fast-food Industry.

Must Be Willing To Potentially Live In A Small City/town Of Saskatchewan

Applicant Must Be Fluent In English And Provide An English Certificate

Celpip General (www.celpiptest.ca) Or Ielts General Training English Certificate Is Required (www.ielts.org)

Celpip Minimum Score: Listening 4; Reading 4; Writing 4; Speaking 4

IELTS Minimum Score: Listening 4.5; Reading 3.5; Writing 4; Speaking 4

Duties And Responsibilities:

Requires To Be Recertified Every 6 Months Using The Kfc Format For The Re-certification.

Prepares New Or Lto Menu Items, Cooking And Assembling For Customer Consumption As Required By Management Or Franchisor.

Collaborates With Management To Maintain Stock/inventory Levels Appropriately, Using Forecasted And Historical Data.

As Required, Learns To Engage With Our Customers Regarding The Kfc Products Prepared And Solicits Customer Feedback. (coloneling).

Maintains A Safe Working Environment And Handles Responsibilities In A Safe Manner.

Works Closely With Other Staff To Develop A Team Spirit. Communicates Effectively With Co-workers And Managers.

Maintain Outside Cleanliness And Sanitation To Acceptable Hygiene Standard.

use Safe Food Handling Procedures When Working With Raw Chicken.

abides By All Regulations That Affect The Health & Safety Of Themselves, Colleagues And Customers.

receives Product And Other Supplies Confirming Correct Delivery Amounts And Quality Then Dating, Timing And Storing According To Approved Procedures. Checks And Records All Temperatures In The Store Ops Diary, Of All Perishables Products.

adding And Preparation Ingredients As Required To Complete Side Dishes And Gravies.

rotates Food, Paper And Cleaning Products On First In, First Out (fifo) Basis.

properly And Safely Maintain Oil Quality Of Open Fryers And Pressure Cookers, Following Proper Filtration And Rotation Of Cooking Oil.

monitors Correct Equipment Functioning And Carries Out Calibration Procedures When Required To Do So.

monitors Product Quality By Checking And Action Upon Expiration Dates/times For Products.

prepares Chicken For Cooking Including Removing Fat, Trimming Excessive Skin, Cut To Size, Checking For Kidneys.

follows Standard Procedures And Schedules For Cleaning And Sanitizing Food Preparation And Storage Areas, Equipment And Utensils.

completes And Records Daily Equipment Temperature Checks. Uses Approved Process To Maintain Proper Thermometer Calibrations.

holds All Raw And Cooked Products To Standard Holding Periods And Temperatures In Appropriate Equipment.

prepares And Cooks Chicken, And Other Products Using Approved Procedures To Volumes And Timing Indicated By The Relevant Process And/or Manager. Completes Pcs (product Control Sheet) As Products Are Cooked.

complies With All Rules, Regulations And Working Practices At All Times, Including Those Relating To Uniform.
